A little about me (The Virgin)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I've been told that I am a hard nut to crack.  That Some would like to know me better but don't know how to do it.  Here is the best description of my sign, Virgo.  It is me, some of it is better than the rest but here I am in a Nutshell!!!

Virgo and Independence:

Virgo is a very independent zodiac sign. They are fully able to put their intelligence to use and get things done for themselves. It is possible however that their narrow mindedness causes their creativity to suffer and they may lead regular routine lives. They may dwell too much on the past and over complicate things and this may limit their ability to move forward and confuse themselves. In conclusion, Virgos are able to be independent but the less evolved types will have difficult if someone is not there helping them to achieve more and not be so critical of themselves.

Virgo and Friendship:

People look up to Virgo for friends because they are straight thinkers and solve problems logically. They are truthful, loyal and determined. Some people might find them cold or emotionally detached because they live in their minds, not in their emotions and feelings. It might be hard to pin down how a Virgo friend is feeling because they easily live in denial. A person who is able to read deep into another person will notice when Virgo is not well but if they confront them about it, they would rather retreat then talk about it. It is best to keep your emotional distance from a Virgo friend unless they open up to you first. Virgo might try to analyze and control a friend's life but only with the idea that they will improve their life, not purely for the sake of controlling. Be patient with your Virgo friend and understand that their recommendations are only to make your life better.

Virgo and Business:

Virgos are very intelligent, they have an excellent memory and a highly analytical mind. This makes them good investigators and researchers. They also have the ability to probe into a person's emotions and they can often see into people and detect what their motives are. This makes them great policemen or interrogators. Virgos are very good at problem solving, this is what they do best. They are confronted with a problem, they will pick apart the pieces and put it together in the proper order. They are rational thinkers and are good at settling other people's disputes and putting them on the right track for reconciliation. Any position that requires the above features, which is a very long list, is perfect for the Virgo. They keep the world in order.

Virgo Temperament:

Before a Virgo plunges into anything, from a problem to a vacation idea, they need to analyze all the facts and know all the details before they plunge in and make a decision. This makes them seem indecisive and slow. Virgo's perception is their reality, more so then other astrology signs. What they believe is what will be, if they have a negative outlook on life, things will present themselves to be negative and they will be very moody and isolated/detached. If they are positive, the same events that occur will be held in a positive light and they will be a pleasant, well adjusted person. A Virgo mind is a very powerful mind and they must have the proper attitude for their life to be happy and successful. Virgo needs to get in touch with their feelings, this is why they usually seem cold or detached. They are very prone of living in denial. They will say the feel okay or everything is alright even when it's not. This is an easy way out, the one thing that Virgo does not like to analyze is their feelings so pretending everything is okay is a good defense mechanism for not having to take a closer look at their feelings. Virgo has an unpredictable and sometimes unstable temperament.

Virgo Deep Inside:

They need to be organized in their mind, sometimes all their energy is taken from organizing their mind that they have a difficult time organizing their surroundings. They easily look too deep into an issue and over analyze what they precept. Virgo is ambitious and strives to always know more and have more. This is in their eternal quest to bring order to chaos. Even if order is obtained from an outsiders' point of view, Virgo will not be settled for they have a very active mind that is always thinking and can never be silenced. Virgos want to be of use, they need to be important and essential to everyone in their lives and in everything they do. Virgo's major life lesson is to learn to trust in and have faith in the unknown. They have to understand that things in life happen for a reason that is not always known to them, they do not have to always know everything. They need to learn to calm down and not over-analyze a situation or event. Deep inside, Virgo is very sensitive and they need to be appreciated for all the things they do. When is Virgo is offended or hurt, they may never show it.

Virgo in a Nutshell:

pickiness and finickiest. They are pure, their motives are honest never malicious and they want to accomplish something.

What it's like to date a Virgo Man:

The Virgo man has a cool exterior with a sensitive interior. He has tremendous respect for a woman and will treat her like and equal. He likes woman who stir his emotions because he is reluctant to express his own emotions, which he tries and this often causes conflict not just inside himself, but it spills out into the relationship. This man takes patience and understanding. He will not get extremely close so do not try to enter his psyche and become closely entangled, this will make him feel threatened. He needs a classy woman who is not impulsive or unconventional. He leads a predictable life and a predictable woman will make him feel safe. He is perfect for the down to earth, conventional woman. He won't be romantic and sweep you off your feet, but he will be by your side and be very loyal. This man's sensuality comes out with time. For the woman who wants a stable, solid relationship with a visible, smooth sailing future is perfect for the Virgo man.

How To Attract Virgo:

Virgos need intellectual stimulation. Impress them with facts and details. Always try to come to conclusions when having a conversation, they do not like topics that go nowhere, they like conversations to come to a close or consensus, even if you agree to disagree. They are very conventional people so do not do anything spontaneous or force them to make a hasty decision, they take their time and think intensely in their mind. They are not slow, their brain is working evaluating everything. Do not attempt to probe inside their mind because their emotions are pretty much closed off until the relationship is solid, and they will decide when that time will be. Virgos are natural worriers, do not let this get to you. Do not give them cause to worry because this makes them get wound up like a spring. Let Virgo take the lead, they like to be in control of what is happening. Keep the date tasteful and do not be vulgar, they like calm and classy surroundings and people.

Virgo Erogenous Zone:

The stomach area is very sensitive to Virgo. Stroke it, circle their belly button with your finger, give them a light belly massage. This makes them feel warn and will help open them up a little bit. Be gentle, no sudden moves or vicious acts like biting or slapping, this will startle them and cause them to retreat.

Sex With Virgo:

As time progresses, sex with Virgo becomes more and more sensual. These are not the type of people who will engage in a one night stand, they are too reserved and prudish for that. Expect sex to be direct and straightforward, no fancy moves, places or games. Virgo is not a highly sexed zodiac sign and does not place much importance on it, if anything they consider sex to be gross and dirty. Once a relationship is solid, Virgo is willing to experiment a little bit with techniques and foreplay but like everything else involving a Virgo, it takes time to develop once all the advantages and disadvantages have been thoroughly weighed out.

Old Friends

Today I went to a gathering at the FDR drive's Amphitheater.  I wasn't planning to go but after cleaning up my house a bit, I set out to go and I did.  I was happy I did.  It seemed like forever but I saw an old friend after 14 years.

There are a few people in this world that do not like social networks or even e-mails.  I don't blame them.  In a way, I've heard stories about Facebook causing marriages to break up and contributing to the divorce rate going higher.

I, for one, can confirm that it is the cause of at least one marriage breakup.  I won't get into the details because it is difficult for me but yes it's true.  Anyway, my friend doesn't like them and therefore ended practically being in the witness protection program!  Disappears from the face of the earth without Any contact.

I must say I missed him but it felt like I just saw him yesterday.  Doesn't change,  He looks good and he's obviously happy.  I'm happy for him.  I just hope that now he keeps in touch!  I also saw many other friends that I know from the neighborhood and those that read this off of facebook can see the new album I uploaded.  I haven't felt that good in a long time.  I guess you can say a ray of sunshine in the midst of a storm. 

It just basically tells me that I will be okay.  I have come to realize that you can't put a monetary value on what I experienced today.  Wow.  I hope we can do it again real soon.  For those that read this and know me, it's a rarity that I go out like that but I did and thank you guys for making my day!

Two good and funny jokes.

I heard these jokes and of course I have to pass them on. 

1.   President Obama calls the FOX channel and tells them that he is disappointed with their programming because they don't have enough Latinos and African Americans on the network.  Fox responds by saying they will correct the problem.  Starting Saturday they are going to show Americas Most Wanted and Cops twice a day!!!!!

2.  Lady goes into Baskin and Robbins and asks the clerk how many flavor of Ice cream do they have.  He said 31 and they are all posted behind him.  She asks if he could read it to her because she doesn't have her glasses.  He reads them to her and she asks for "Chocolate", the guy tells her that unfortunately there is no more chocolate.  She asks him to read them a second time and even tho he is a little upset he does it.  She asks for "Chocolate" again.  He turns and says there is no chocolate.  She asks him a third time to read them to her and he does it but angrily.  She asks for "Chocolate" one more time.  He's pissed at this point.  He asks her, "Lady, if you take the letters I-L-L-A out of Vanilla what do you get?"  She says, "VAN" He says, "If you take out B-E-R-R-Y out of Strawberry what do you get?" She says, "Straw." He says, "If you take out FUCK out of Chocolate, what do you get?" She says, "There is no FUCK in Chocolate!"  He screams, "THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU!".

Today I'm feeling disappointed.  Do you know how it feels to be excited about something to find that it went the other way for you?  I guess I should be use to it already but I'm kinda hoping that God changes it up for me a little bit.

I believe that words have power.  that if you say something with conviction it comes to pass.  the bible does say "Words will come to pass".  Think it, Say it, believe what you said and it will come to you.  I guess that's why praying is so important.

A prayer for today:  Dear Almighty God, he that is Great and Powerful, I praise thee.  I bask in the glory that is love and life in which you have so generously provided for me.  I thank you for my life and the opportunity to praise and love you.  I call upon you to come into my heart and bring the joy and love that is missing in my life.  Bring me sustenance to fill that void created by the ungrateful and the promise breakers. Bring me the strength and the patience that is required to live comfortably in your arms.  Father Almighty, in this time of heartbreak and depression, I ask that you help me rise up and prosper in the love of my family and friends.  I ask that my family is NEVER in need of anything for your love and guidance control our lives.  I ask this is his ALMIGHTY Name!!!  Amen.

The origin of Sagging (Pants not boobs! LOL)

You know, I have to Shake My Head when it comes to this fad.  All these young kids doing it, I guess is fine but when I see old men like me wearing the pants like that I have to wonder. First and foremost, I must give you, those that don't know, the origin of the fad.

Prison.  it's that simple.  In prison you have a chain of command from the peons to the ones in charge.  Everyone knows the ones in charge.  Those are the big, strong, intelligent serial murderers that would kill you like he was having breakfast.  Under him his followers, soldiers and so forth.  Whatever.  Separated by gangs, some by age and so forth.

A community withing a community.  The saggers are, unfortunately, the punk bitches of the community.  They HAVE to wear their pants like that because they must be ready for penile entry at a moments notice!  It identifies them as said "Punk Bitches" and they are required to wear them like that. 

Now, do you really want to let the world know that you like getting raped?  Or for the veterans, do you want to tell the world that you did prison time in that capacity?  C'mon now!  What about those 40 or even 50 year olds that wear their pants like that?

Is it because they can't afford a belt?  Let me tell you something, for those that know me and my family, if you ever, and I mean ever, see my son in the street wearing pants like that, call me immediately.  He definitely knows better and has a little more self-esteem than those that need to sag.

I don't care who gets upset at this.  It's time for this world (Our children) to be educated enough to go through this world with doors open because they look good.  Imagine me walking into an interview wearing pants like that?  I don't think security would let me up!!!

My friends, my opinion may not be warranted nor desired but I guess I'm trying to better this world, at least my little corner of it, with my life's experience. 

Classic Comedians

This morning my son woke up and asked me if I knew that Larry the cable guy was the voice of Maynard in the movies "Cars".  I said yes I knew.  My daughter, however, didn't know who he was so she asked him.  He said that he was  an old comedian that has been around forever.

I turned to him and said "What are you talking about, forever?"  He said yeah, he first came out about 10 years ago.  I was taken a back to that.  I couldn't believe that my son thought "Larry the cable guy" was a classic comedian.

I asked him if he knew who Bob hope  was.  He said no.  I asked him if he knew who Jerry Lewis was.  He sad no.  I went on to name others like Milton Berle, Dean Martin, Soupy sales and he didn't know any of them.  What is this world coming to when Larry is a classic comedian?

I guess since I was raised by my grandfather, I looked forward to watching Bob Hope movies and Jerry Lewis and so forth every Sunday morning.  That was classic slapstick comedy and they can never be replaced no matter how hard anyone tries.  Good clean fun.  Mysterious chases.  They made monsters people to!

Today's comedians only talked about sex and how the left testicle is mad at the right for living next to an asshole!  Every 5th word is a curse word.  I'm so happy I introduced Lucille Ball in "I Love Lucy" to my daughter who laughs uncontrollably whenever she sees the episodes.  The hallmark channel brings her back.

SMH!  I guess I'm going to have to take out some of my movies and sit his ass down to watch them!  Most of all, I love my Danny Kaye movies.  His style and mannerisms are the best and have NEVER been duplicated.  God bless them all.  They're probably hanging out all up there wondering at what point did it all go wrong!  I know many of you feel the same way. 

Please don't deprive your children of the classics just because they're in black and white or whatever.  I'm sure they'll be better people as adults for it!   thank you

A "Constant" Thank you!!!

Today I was going to blog about Freedom of Speech.  I'll do that at a later date because I know I will be offending certain people so I must prepare for the backlash.  I would rather talk today about "Constant".  The "constant" in my life.

Maybe I should just thank those that add something special to my daily life.   It would help kill two birds with one stone.  First and foremost, no matter what others think of my relationship with God, I MUST thank and praise him for all that he has bestowed on me.  Every breath that I take is a gift from God and he continues to give generously.  He is the main "Constant" in my life.  Amen

 Secondly, I would like to thank my mother.  Although we may not see eye to eye most of the time, I know she loves me very much and that she gave of her all to raise me.  I know I'm not the grand prize of children!  She has been a "Constant"  in my life and I appreciate and love you.  Thank you.

Thirdly, believe it or not, I want to thank my soon-to-be ex-wife.  LOL  For if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have had these beautiful children in my life.  I can't imagine my life without them and I love them very much.  They are a Major "Constant" in my life.

Continuing, I want to thank a very good friend/older brother to me.  This is a person who took me under his wing, a rarity in itself, and is teaching me what it is to be Salsa Pianist/Musician.  I'm learning salsa philosophy.  I'm learning patience and trust again.  He provides me with the wisdom of experience and knowledge.  He gets mad at me and breaks on me when I veer off the road.  He comes from a very loving place even tho he refuses to show it!  He is as stubborn as I am and I love him for it.  Gilberto "Pulpo" Colon Jr, you are a major "Constant" in my life and I appreciate you.  Thank you

I want to thank my "Constant" facebook friends that were friends before facebook.  You know who you are.  Certain people that like to get the last word.  People who are bothered because some nut job deleted them from facebook.  People who are lost and ask me for help and people who help me when they see that I am lost.  You guys are my "Constant"  And I appreciate and thank you for that!!!

You must ask "Why is Kenny going thru all this?"  LOL  It's simple.  I don't usually do this.  It's very hard to reveal my feelings this deeply.  It's as rare as it is hard.  I wanted to take the opportunity so that everyone can have a great day on my account.  I get pleasure from giving pleasure.  Is that weird?  If I forgot to mention you, and you are a "Constant"  in my life.  Thank you!!!  Enjoy your week/life!!!!
